The firm can trace its origins back to 1925 when a young recently qualified accountant, Morris J. Cohen, commenced practice in Queen Street, Melbourne. 

Over the years the firm has merged with a number of Chartered Accounting practices. Today the firm has four partners, two consultants, (both former partners), and 20 staff.
